DNS problem?
I'm trying to fix my brothers network over the phone! Great fun! He has one computer connected to the internet and another that connects through that computer wirelessly.
The problem is this. The gateway computer has no problems, and connects to the internet, as well as being to browse files on the other computer. The other computer can ping the gateway computer and it can also ping the ip address of internet sites such as google but cannot "ping google.com". Therefore i think it's a dns problem. So i specified 2 dns servers that the gateway is using but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
