DSL Router config for web server
I have tried everything I can and would like to see if anyone can offer suggestions.
I have the following config: ADSL router with 4 port switch. Router (Alcatel) is setup to provide DHCP (10.0.0.xxx for LAN), NAPT and internal DNS. Server is setup with static IP and is configured in router DNS. I can access server web site fine internally from internal IP address and server name (from any internal machine) and loopback 127.0.0.1 on server. I can do port probe and it shows port 80 is open (NAPT setup on router to forward to server). I can turn this on and off. I have tried many configs but I cannot access my web server from my WAN static IP address (61.9.200.36) or DNS (www.azureproductions.com.au). I have done extensive testing of DNS and I think it is OK. Since I cannot get to it from WAN IP I think the problem is there, can anyone help or make suggestions (oe let me kow if you can see either from you side)? |

Do you have any other firewall that may be blocking port 80 from outside?

Not that I kow of.
I can turn port blocking on/off at router and do port probe www.grc.com using shields up, it relfects changes to indicate port is open or not (router provides good stealth on other ports). Or I can set router to forward all requests to server on LAN and I can use it to filter ports but it shows blocked ports as closed (not so secure). Neither method let's me see server. PS are you able to see it (www.azureproductions.com.au or IP 61.9.200.36) ? |

I'm able to access via IP and FQDN no problem. Looks as if it works now.
