Thread split.

Are you sure that you're applying the group policy to the test user account you're using?

Are you using Windows 2003 Server? If you are, try the Group Policy Management Console to work out what policies should be applying to which users.

Hey,

I run win2000 server

1. I create a OU with the name Internet User Policy and click the properties Group Policy.
2. Click New and give the name User Policys for the object.
4. Click the button Edit and change some options to disable.
3.than i click on properties by Group Policy and put the user (test) and activate apply group policy
4. activate"block policy inheritance"
5. I move the user (test) from the group Users to OU.
6. Run secedit /refreshpolicy MACHINE_POLICY /enforce" and secedit /refreshpolicy USER_POLICY /enforce.
7. When i log in with the username "test" is see not the change what i maked.

Not sure if its available in 2k but in 2k3 go to the cmd prompt and type "gpresult"
This will tell you the last time the GPO's were applied and where they were applied from, which polices were applied to which objects etc etc...
