Exclamation Handling two lan from 1 server

Hi,

Is it possible to set up a two different lan with 1 common server. The server o.s. is win 2003 standard edition. If I use two different lan card and configure it differently with different ip address (eg. 1 lan card ip starts with 192.168.1.xx and 2 lan card ip starts with 202.xx.xx.xx)? Also I am connected to internet through 1 lan card.

So can I handle both the lan simultaneously from one server?

s the 202.xx.xx.xx the public side of things? otherwise you can't do that. you need to set it up with another 192.168.xx.xx or 10.10.xx.xx and there is one more private destination but I can't remember that one.

you just need to assign each card an ip address. how you do it I haven't a clue really with windows. just assign one an ip and then go from there to one of the lans if it works then you got it right if not switch the cables than it should be right.

linux is really simple for this imo.
