ok two comps, both on xp pro
neighbors comp has broadband. mine dialup. not too fussed about using the internet over the network so lets ignore that. we used the home networkign wizard and selected the option that says the network has no internet. now in network> view my network places i can see his pc and he mine.. but when trying to acces his pc from mine and vice versa we get //pc is not accessible you might not have permission to use this network resource Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. the network path was not found. we have no idea what to do now.. its really quite frustrating... any ideas? |

Sounds like this post...
http://forums.devshed.com/t142514/s.html give it a try and see if it is the same problem. The solution is in that post. The post is for XP Home, but the problem may be the same. |

Do the two computers have good IP addresses? Can you ping between them?
