ifconfig with IPv6 question...
If the results of an "ifconfig -a" command show IPV6 in the flags and there are no IPV6 addresses on the interface, would that cause a major problem? I'm trying to diagnose a network problem and am wondering if this is significant...
Here's the results:
ec0: flags:8400c43 UP, BROADCAST,RUNNING,FILTMULTI,MULTICAST,IPALIAS,IPV6
inet 192.168.1.12 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
Thanks
