Make sure that you've shared the Internet connection on the main computer and that Internet Connection Sharing is enabled. Check that the second computer has its default gateway set to the IP address of the first computer.

I've just found this page:

http://www.aol.co.uk/products/broad...networking.html

Quote:
When you subscribe to AOL Broadband you can visit AOL Keyword: Home Networking for general information on the options for setting up a home network

Try doing that and see if it suggests anything.

Quote:
AOL does not currently support home networking for cable broadband users. However we are working hard to make home networking available for cable users in 2004.

Are you using cable broadband?

Quote:
Home networking is not available with AOL Broadband Silver.

Are you using AOL Broadband Silver?

Quote:
AOL currently support only the SpeedTouch 510, 570 and 545 routers from the Thomson range, however we are working to increase our list of supported products in 2004

Is the hardware you're using supported?

So what does happen when you open your browser? Are you sure that you're using an account which allows home networking? What error do you get in your browser? Is it a DNS error?
