IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.153.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.116.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

Ethernet adapter Windows 98 COMP:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.1.160
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.0.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.1.1

The one from windows 98 :
eth0:
only some 0 ips;

eth 1:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.65
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

I have made Local Area Conection shared, set the windows 98 comp as the connection for it, I have made an account in XP as admin with the username and password from the 98 computer, set the dns from 98 as 192.168.0.1, the sharing works, but i can' access any site.I am using windows xp and the firewall is deactivated.

If you can help me please do, as i ran out of options.

Many many thanks.

Your W98 and XP IP's don't appear to be in the same subnet.

Actually, none of your computers appear to be on the same subnet? If this is just a home network, shouldn't they all be on the same subnet??
192.168.1.101
192.168.1.102
192.168.1.105
.... and so on? If you are using two different routers that would be one thing....are you? Is this a wireless network or a wired network? Make sure that each computer can ping your router, and that each computer can ping each other (or the host). Any firewalls up?
