Linksys BEFVP41 and Windows XP VPN Conection
Hello,
My LAN (A) has 5 Windows 2000 Professional machines connecting to the Internet thru a Linksys BEFVP41. This router is a VPN router. My LAN (B) has 4 Windows XP machines connecting to the Internet thru another Windows XP machine which is connected to a DSL router. This DSL router doesn't have VPN capabilities but the Windows XP machine that is use like a gateway has VPN capabilities. I need to create a VPN connection between LAN (A) and LAN(B) because one of the machines in LAN (A) has a folder or drive that needs to be visible securely at LAN (B). In other words, the machines in LAN (B) have an application that need to map to a drive that is on a machine on LAN (A) How can I accomplish this? Any inputs? Thanks in advanced, Pablo |

This can be done using IPSec tunneling. You will also need to use NAT-Traversal since one of your end-points is inside.
Hope this helps. |
