Mapping Network Drive..
Hey,
I wanted to ask you guys for some help for the certain situation I dont understand. When I try to map a network drive F: it says "No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept" I dont know if this is true however because I have tried it on this computer before and it said the same thing.. however I also bought a new computer and was able to map it no problem. |

How many other computers do you have in the network trying to access the computer? If you're using XP Home I think only 5 computers can connect at the same time. If you've got XP Pro, I think this is increased to 10. You'll need a server OS for more connections.
(btw, this limit includes the local computer itself, so you can really only have 4 or 9 other connections) |
