Master Browser?

I have two laptops connected to a router.

When both laptops are connected with network cables, everything works fine.

When laptop B is connected via a wireless card, I get problems on laptop A (which is still on the network cable).

Every 10-15 minutes, laptop A cannot access the router and the entry in the Event Viewer says "The browser has forced an election on network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{BEBA7379-A5B4-4581-B2C3-72B8928A8ED0} because a master browser was stopped."

Any ideas what I need to be looking at to resolve the problem?

Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry to be so stupid, but . . . where do I make these setting changes? Is it on properties for the network card? the wireless card? the network connection? I had a look at lal of these and could not see anything about "ms client"

On the LAN Properties, there is an item called "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks", which is ticked, but the properties button is greyed out for it. I can set the properties for other things (eg TCP/IP), but not that.

You are in as admin? What OS?

Another thought is that the wireless connection is intermittent and that is why the elections keep taking place. You get that message every time a pc comes up to figure out what it should be doing and where to get the browse list.
