Maybe an unusual request
I have 1 pc and I'm wanting to connect it to 2 internet connections more specifically I'm looking for a simple way to route, I'd prefer a software solution my email via 1 connection (a mobile phone which exists on a "garden wall"ed network via which is the only way to receive emails using IMAP server) and everything else through the other connection (high speed cable modem).
I know the ports of the IMAP servers so really I'm looking for software to install on this pc with which to select ports ABC to use my phones network adapter and all else to the cable modem. I hope this makes sense and that you guys can help. |

get the ip address for your IMAP server then open up command prompt and use the " route add -p " the -p makes it persistent so if you reboot it is still there.

I have just tried this with no success all other internet requests as far as I can see are also trying to use the mobile connection, what I'd like is to specify the ip address or the ports used by it and direct them to the mobile connection while all others go to the cable modem connection |

ok this has worked once I removed the "use default gatway on remote connection" tick box but as the gatway is the client i.p. I have to manualy enter this each time as the i.p. is dynamic although the sequence is always 10.*.*.* and when using the add option of the route command you cannot use wildcards. So does anyone know of a way to automate this ?
