    Monitor downstream router

    Hello,

I am having a bit of trouble with the network that I have recently taken over.

I have attached (or at least am trying to) a picture of a dumbed down network, that represents my problem.

I have a computer plugged into one router, that router has another router plugged into it, which has 2 computers attached.

How can I, from the computer that is plugged into the first router, manage the second router (and more importantly monitor the traffic of the two computers plugged into the second router).

The network I am administering does not have any funds available to purchase any more equipment (gotta love the army) and does not have any equipment available to implement a firewall.

    thanks,
    dan

enable the remote wan management on the 2nd router so you can access it via its wan ip.
