Monthly retainer?
Does anyone know what I might expect to pay to have a network technician on a monthly retainer? I'm looking to hire, but having no idea what to expect I don't want to get run over. Pretty basic, low-level stuff.
Any help would be great, I'm clueless. Cheers. |

Whatever it's worth to you I should think. It's a totally pointless question. We have no idea of the size of your organisation, the nature of your network, or the extent of your requirements. Turn this into a more detailed spec and put it in the project help wanted forum.

I do onsite techy stuff and I charge $80/hr. You may not need to hire someone, you could just have someone on call. That's how my clients handle it. They call me when they need me. It would save you from having to hire someone on a permanent basis.
Most smaller networks (less than 25 computers) are generally pretty self sufficent. Although that depends on the complexity. Larger networks need more supervision. |
