Cool Most secure Network?

I have {4} PC's all XP [3Pro,1Home].I have cable modem and hub with cards in all puters.Right now I have the modem connected to 1 puter that has 2 cards with the other card connected to hub along with other 3.I have ICS enabled and they all get online. My question is this the most secure way to network them? Also 1 is a Supermicro Sever tower w/dual Zion's and I would like to set it up as network server. Is this possible or even necessary.Son picked up something that destroyed his drive so security is a concern.I would greatly appreciate anyones' thoughts on this as I'm pretty much a newbie on networking.

The security of your network there is decent, assuming you have firewall software on the computer that's directly connected to the Internet. (Windows XP Service Pack 2 comes with a built-in firewall. I don't know how good it is, though.)

You can set any computer up to be a server. What do you want it to do?

Also, virus protection is a wonderful investment.
