Need creative solution

Hey

Have any of you tried hooking your computer directly into your modem through USB, then hooking your wireless router up through the ethernet in your computer and then "share" the connection that's coming through USB to the ethernet (wireless router).

If so, I could use some help because this is what I am trying to do. The reason I can't hook the wirless router directly into the modem is because the modem uses PPPoA and the router doesn't use that, so I have to come up with some way to set up a network another way.

Any help?

almost every router I have used in the past 4 years has had PPPoA/E authentication but anyway you just need to enable Internet connection sharing.
