Netgear WGT624

Has anyone been able to add a default static route to this product. When I connect this via the WAN port I don't have an issue, but I have an application where I need to connect this via one of the LAN ports and it works EXCEPT for remote management. I sniffed this problem and see that it is because there is not a default route when connected to the LAN(duh! as my 18yr old says).
