To do this, you'll need some form of advanced Internet connection sharing software on the computer with the Internet connection. Google around and you'll probably find some, but the only one I've ever seen is in ISA Server, which isn't really suitable for a home network. You may also find that advanced routers come with some options for bandwidth sharing.
Having said that, I'm not sure what the Internet Connection Sharing software built-in to Windows is like. I don't know if it equally shares out bandwidth between computers, or if, for example, one person is downloading, then it hogs all the bandwidth. You could try it out though, I suppose. |
