I 've been tring to find a fast network card and hub any sugestions on what to look for.

Depends on how fast you want. If money isn't an option then look into getting a gig NIC and gig switch. Otherwise, 100mb NICs and 100mb switches/hubs should work just fine for you.

Get a switch if possible - as opposed to hubs, switches send packets destined for a computer straight to that computer, rather than sending it to every port on the switch.
