Any know where there is a tutorial a good one step by step for making redhat linux work as a router/gateway for windows 2000 clients,

The daemons in question would be either routed or gated. The configuration file for routed is supposed to be /etc/gateways and for gated is /etc/gated.conf . gated is supposed to be better.

That's about as much as I can tell you, since I'm not in a position to play with it (neither my ISP at home nor my IS dept at work will support or allow a linux box to become a router).
