Networking terms
i have setup a new wireless network and have managed to get both internet and file sharing working.
Now i am trying to learn about all the features of the router etc so as to make sure that i can keep the network running properly. I have allready tried looking on the net for an explenation of some of the setting but to no avail. If someone could help me out with what each of the folowing terms means and what a good setting for a wireless B network would be i would apriciate it ![]() Beacon Interval. RTS threshold Fragmentation Threshold: DTIM Interval Basic Rates: TX Rates Preamble Type Authentication Type Antenna Selection Dynamic Routing: TX: RX Again any help on these is apriciated |

As you have already got it in working order i would get a cup of coffee and celabrate. Then read your routers manual and do a search on the net. Unless you need to be an engineer or something get a copy of PHP and learn how to write a hello world script. Zipikaye!! |
