On a similar note... I use a PC running ME which I used to lan with another machine running ME going through a Netgear 8 port switch.
We have bought a new machine with XP Pro, but cannot access the files or view them, even though the two machines can see each other??

Any help as it is doing my tree in!

No I couldn't! But... Thanks anyways... I have solved it. It turned out to be the firewall on both machines were the problem. I just told them both to allow the whole LAN as Trusted and it allowed access!

Now I just need to get my game communicating!
