buy 2 network cards
1 router connect your modem to the routers uplink/internet port, run cable from the router to the other two computers. set all of your TCP/IP settings to dynamic/automatic make sure the computers are on the same workgroup and there you go. |

I have XP Pro and Win 98 running, badly, but running. Follow xtremcoder's advice
and then go to the control panel in XP and set up new small office networkJamie |

Actually, the advice is right, but the 2 computers do not have to be a part of the same workgroup for internet access, only to access files from each other. Do it anyway, but it's not necessary for web access.
