NFS Question/Problem???
I have setup NFS on a RH9 Server & created a "/downloads" folder, where I keep all the files I downloaded from the internet & plan to share with other LINUX servers. Then I setup a NFS client on another RH9 computer.
On the NFS Client machine, I can mount this folder. I can view its contents. No problem. But then I try to copy a file from the "/downloads" folder (Client), I get an error: Error While Copying. "/downloads/mysql-..." cannot be copied because you do not have permissions to read it. I am logged on as a root both on the master & client NFS servers. What should I do??? Kirti |

set proper permissions for folders/files on the server side.
