What's an "ntl:cable TV box thingy"? Is it a router or a modem? If it's a modem, you should be able to connect it to the WAN port on the router and all will work fine. But perhaps if you provided more details about what the NTL thing is, I could help more.

in the UK we get cable TV through a little box and you can plug your broadband line into the little box, i wanted to know if i could use a router and 2 broadband lines, ive got 1 working havnt had a go witht he second yet,
the main problem i thought i had was the the cable company (NTL) would block it so you can only have 1 IP address but if you dont know of the compnay then its doubtful you will know, but thanks anyway ![]() |

lol, I'm afraid I don't use NTL so don't know much about them. ![]() But, I still don't know what you mean! Are you trying to connect one router to two Internet connections? If you are, then I don't think you'll be able to do this with a standard router/equipment. |
