outlook 2003 sync???
ok im not too sure where to post this one....i hope here is ok!!
I have outlook 2003 and i want to sync the mail settings, messages and address book with my laptop. Ive bin searching the M$ site but have not managed to find anything that suits. There is PST folder but that is what i use to backup and i can't find any real evidence on the web that it can be reliably used for syncronising.... does anyone know of a program that can help? Thanks in advanced to any replies RF

I'm not sure about this, but perhaps it's worth a try
![]() You yourself mentioned about the PST files. I think (I'm not sure because I'm using Outlook 2003 with Exchange) that you'll find a PST folder called something like Personal Folders.pst in the C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. This file should contain all your mail, contacts, calendar etc. If you were to copy this from one computer to another (using that sync program which I showed you before), I think the mail would be present on the second computer. As I said, I'm not sure, and even if it did work, I'm not sure it's the best way, but perhaps it's worth a try ![]() |

OK - how about this: Easy2Sync for Outlook http://www.easy2sync.de/en/produkte/e2s4o.php?googlead
Looks good and isn't too badly priced (EUR 39). I think it does exactly what you want! ![]() |

Even better - they do a freeware version which allows you to sync the inbox and outbox only. If you only need the inbox then this would be fine
