PC Locks Up After Installing DLinks Wireless Card

Ok you guys, I'm a complete rookie at this but I need some help. I installed a wireless network at home and have a pc connected directly to the router. This works fine without a problem. I bought a new pci wireless network card and installed it. Now I am having problems with my pc locking up. I have tried everything possible that i could do. I updated dlinks drivers, call their tech support, even had a local pc shop trouble shoot the problem. They as well said its the network card. I've taken the card off and no problems. I reconnect and it runs for a while than it locks up. The main problem is that it locks up on boot up and shutting down.

The router is a DI-624 and the card is a DWL-510. Now Best Buy where i bought the card said that there is no problem with the card since i can make the connection and keep it on for a while. Tech support from dlinks say its my pc.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem? Any help would be appreciated. I'll even take any recommendations for a new card.

Have you tried looking the problem up at dlink's website?

Also you might want to completely remove the drivers from you PC and re-install them. If possible, go to dlinks support page and lookup the downloads for your card. See if there are updated drivers or firmware for the card. You might also want to update windows if you haven't already. I remember seeing a hotfix for driver problems.
