Ping but cannot browse to one computer

Hi

I have a fairly interesting issue on my 2008 r2 server. I have network shares on my network and twice in 1 month I have run into the following situation:

- I can not browse \\a particular computer name on the network
- I can browse to the same computer by \\ip address
- I can browse to all the rest of the computers by \\computer name

- the issue seems to resolve by power cycling

Any ideas why I would not be able to browse a particular networked computer by name?
