    Port Forwarding Problem

Has anyone else had a problem where you assign several ports to be forwarded, and when you apply, one of them applies to the rest of them, for example:

    Description..............Inbound....Type...PrivateIP......Private Port
    Teamspeak server......9987.......UDP........8..............9987
    Game server.............25565....TCP&UDP...8..............25565
    Game Server.............27548......UDP........8..............27548
    ETC. ETC.

and somewhere along the way, one of them decides to fill out the rest below it with identical information, and you lost any ports input after the glitched one.

if anyone knows how to fix this, i would love to hear the solution.

sorry about the dots, the spacing wouldn't work otherwise.

14 ports attempted to be used, port 11 fills the other 9 under it that should be blank(excluding the 3 under it that should have information) with its information.

Why is that particularly a problem? If it's repeating the same rule, it's not really hurting anything, right? Everything would still work as intended anyway.

if you read a bit more carefuly, you will see, i need 14 rules, because i have 14 different ports needing forwarding, and at number 11 it overwrites 3 i need, and 6 i that are blank. the 6 arent a problem, but the 3 are.

It sounds like a bug in the firmware for your router. You might want to check with the manufacturer and see if they have an update for it.

unfortunately i didn't have this problem until i updated it roughly a month ago, but it didn't occur to me that it could be the firmware, i'll check it out and post letting anyone who might have a similar problem know what it is/isn't.

Can you roll back the firmware to a previous version from Belkin's site? Either that or you could perform a factory reset (not sure if that will wipe the firmware or not).

Have you tried setting them one at a time?

i really would rather not, with all the settings i have applied, and things i have changed, it would be a major pain, if i must i will, but if i don't absolutely have to i don't want to.

It's quite likely a bug in the firmware then.

Okay, thanks, i guess i'll just do a factory reset or contact belkin after class, although i suspect that they are going to charge.

did a factory default reset, it HELPED, but did not fix the problem, it just moved it farther down so the slots i needed are being used properly, but its still filling out the rest with the information of one.

i think the fact that it changed is dumb luck, and not a result of factory defaulting.
