Problem with Internet Pages being different - Using Linksys BEFSR41 4 port router

I type in a url at work and it displays a page, but on my home computer it displays somthing else (another site). Thats what happened a few months ago.
Now i had a website and i moved the host, so i changed the name servers to point to that account. The holding page displayed was my domain registrars. You wait 24hrs and it displays the new holding page of the new hosting account.

NOW here is the problem i am accessing the url of my site from outside like at work and it displays the new holding page but at home it displays the old one of my domain registrars.

I have tried:
clearing cache
unplugging modem.
renew dhcp

I am connected via cable broadband and i have a linksys 4 port befsr41 cable/dsl router which auto detects everything and i am using dhcp.

Plz help i am not sure why this happens but it must be somthing to do with the router setup since it is only at my home computer and all nodes connected.

Probably you have some entry in your hosts file at home that's overriding the Internet DNS. I doubt it's anything in the Linksys.

I only found the following is in my hosts file:
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

I think it might be somthing to do with my ISP, then again if my friend accesses the page from his house with the same ISP then the correct one comes up?

the issue has now been resolved - thanks for the help.
I think i just had to await propogation with my isp.
And on ip config i released and renewed all or somthing i think it must have refreshed the setting from the isp.

I'm glad you got it going. What's in your hosts file is normal btw.
