Problems with wireless networking D-Link DI 624 router with D-Link wireless cards

Hello,

In our lab we got a new wireless router, the D-Link DI 624 AirPlus XtremeG 2.4GHz model. To go with this, we got five wireless PCI network cards, the D-Link AirPlus XtremeG 2.4GHz. I've so far installed four of the cards in WinXP Home machines, and set the router up. We also have two machines with old D-Link wireless cards, not sure exactly what the specs are.

The two machines with the older wireless cards can access the router fine. One of the machines with the new cards works good as well, but three machines with the new cards cannot seem to connect to the network. They see the network, but cannot connect. The only difference I can see between the machines with the new network cards is that the one that's working still has some Windows updates that could be installed, while the machines with the broken networks are completely up to date.

Any ideas? Where can I start solving this problem?

Thanks,
Mike

I guess that since you're using a router, you'll be using DHCP. Have the PCs been able to contact the router to obtain an IP address?
