RAS Server config / DHCP
Hi!
Just wondering, whether there's some Remote Access Server guru roaming free in the web.
Setting up a RAS server is straight forward thingy, but here's where the tricky part starts. I've got 2 modem lines in my RAS and what I'd like to do is to give the other modem a static IP address and for the modem an IP pool from which the addresses come from. The only thing that I find from win2k RAS server is a single static IP address for the whole server. And it seems to be impossible to have 2 occurences of RAS server in a single machine? Has anyone seen any spesific software for this or knows how to configure a multihomed RAS on a single machine? Or the other option is that the IP addresses are handed over the remote access clients by DHCP, but didn't find anything there either conserning remote access clients.
Fhyyyuuu, what a story... Ask more questions if something remains a mystery for you.
