Setting CHMOD in Samba

I have a mandrake linux (9.1) set up... with a samba server that shares a web folder (/var/www)..

So on my windows machines (workstations) i can edit webpages on my webserver. The problem is that we have to use our ftp and connect to server (proftpd) and set unix permssions in the ftp program.

Is there any windows mod, for the explorer shell that would allow us to set permssions threw the samba?
