Sharing internet connection with phone adapter
Hi,
I would like to know how I could share an internet connection from a Win XP computer with an analog telephone adapter. The adapter uses VOIP technology which requires an internet connection through the adapter's ethernet port. I used to have a router but it broke and I was told I cold use an ethernet crossover cable. If I connect the computer and the phone adapter with the crossover cable, what should I do next? Is there any software to install? Anything to configure? Thanks for any help |

Can you use Internet Connection Sharing built-in to Windows XP? In Network Connections in the Control Panel, right-click the connection. Select Properties and click the Advanced tab. You should be able to configure ICS from there.
