simple connection question
Hi,
I am using a router for the first time. My question is what do I need to do so that my router never drops the connection. I am running a website from my home computer so I do not want router to drop the connection. When I was seting up my router it ask about the "Max idle" time. I put down for now 30 minutes, but i do not want my connection to ever get disconnected. Thanks

As long as you are using broadband, you are always connected to the Internet, so your web server should always be accessible. If you did enter a disconnect timeout, can't you just change this in the web-admin interface?
I'd be able to give you more help if you tell me what router you are using. |

thanks for your reply. I think If you set idle time 0 that means you will be connected 24/7.
