SIP and VoIP Question
Hi,
Im playing around with some Cisco 7940 IP Phones, and have setup 3CX and this is for educational purposes.
My main question is say i deploy 200 phones in an enterprise enviroment,
Do the phones request the configuration files from the TFTP server every time they are rebooted?
The weird this is, i just check the phones settings and they have a TFTP server of
If i stop my TFTP server and reboot the phones, will they load with the default configuration or do they require the same configuration files on every reboot to know where the SIP server are etc
