![]() Thank you guys for your assistance, I finally got these two computers to talk to each other - 1. I needed to disable the firewall on the XP machine. [edit: I've split this from the original thread, so these comments apply to URL - Edwin] Now, there is a different problem, the connection between the two computers is super slow. Both computers communicate with the Internet without a noticeable delays but when it comes to, say, opening a document stored on computer 1 from computer 2 it is far too slow (to both directions that is, from computer 1 to computer 2, and from computer 2 to computer 1). I'm assuming that this system is wireless? Try changing the channels on your system and see if that helps any.
