    SNMP trap reading

I want to read SNMP trap message on my windows 7. I googling and found out that the to read the SNMP trap message, i would have to install a third party software (SNMP Manager). Then i found a article about snmputil.exe can be used to read the SNMP trap message but Snmputil.exe is available from the Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 Resource Kits.

My question would be is there any other way to read the trap message?

    Thank you.

    Simple Network Management Protocol

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an "Internet-standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks." Devices that typically support SNMP include routers, switches, servers, workstations, printers, modem racks..

Install Python and write up (or copy) a simple script to display or log the trap messages.

This is dead easy on Linux, but I don't know about Windows.
