Someone must know something about subnets
Internet>router>XPmachine>win98 machine
If the winXP machine can download off the net and save to the win98 PC and the win98 PC can access the XP machine, surely it is possible for the win98 machine to access the internet in a few easy steps.. Please Help me - open to any ideas - static routes, DMZ servers, anything!!! Cheers, Andrew |

this has nothing to do with subnets its about making your XP machine into a router. I believe you have a routing issue.

Surely you've got things connected wrong. Plug the 98 machine into the router, as well as the XP computer.

I've just seen that you've got three almost identical threads, so I've closed this one and one other.
