need to be a little more descriptive. what do you want to make an SSH server for putty to connect to?

HI

I use putty to connect internet via proxy server however is there a way i can use ssh itself that can be configure to access internet via proxy server with out using putty if so how?.

Not really sure what you are talking about but here is the basics. for SSH you need a SSH server (openssh, pix, router, etc. ) and a SSH client (like putty, secureCRT,or openssh client). There are two types ssh1 and ssh2 must be compatible between client and server.
Are you asking what other clients are available other than putty? or do you want to know how to setup an ssh server to connect to?
