tracking chat sessions
Hi friends,
out of sheer curiosity i am asking this question. is it possible for the system administrator to track all my conversations in the yahoo or hotmail chat? the internet connection is a shared over the LAN. it is just of curiosity that i am posting this question. thanks in advance |

If your System Admin has installed VNC on your workstation, then yes... He can spy you freely
I have also heard that MSN messenger has a super weak security... I do not have the knowledge to sneak into the port used by MSN messenger YET... But I do not think that should be a problem if the security is thin. |

You can use ettercap or ethereal so watch the packets if you are using *nix.
