Wanting to extend a Netgear 802.11g router...
Anyone here know what I can use to extend the router?
I've seen these products such as:
1. http://reviews.cnet.com/D-Link_DWL-2100AP/4505-3265_7-30719278.html -D-Link DWL-2100AP
2. http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=35&prid=615 -Linksys WET54GS5
3. http://reviews.cnet.com/Buffalo_WLA-G54C_wireless_repeater_bridge/4505-3304_7-30576840.html -Buffalo Wireless Repeater
and 4. http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=14 -D-Link Air XpertTM DWL-7000AP
Which should I use? #4 seems the best... but am I able to just buy the AP and plug it in, set it up and thats all I need to extend the network that much further?
I also see reviews for some products saying things such as the buffalo repeater only works with buffalo products, and the linksys ap only works with linksys. is that true?
