Hi,
My wife and I use the same laptop PC to access the net. It runs WinXP home edition. Whenever we switch users or restart from power saving mode we need to disable and then re-enable the wireless lan connection or we cannot connect to anything on the net. If I rightclick on the WLAN connection icon in the Taskbar before going through the disable-enable process it gives us the option to repair the connecting, stating that it was unable to refresh the IP address. Can anyone suggest what may be causing this or what I should look out for regarding my router's configuration which may be causing this. |

I'm experiencing the same problems running WinXP Professional. Did y'all ever figure this one out?
I have one user that has to power off/on the wireless card and then he can connect to the wireless network. The other two users have no hope ... nothing seems to work for them. I'm even tried giving these three users admin privileges just to see if that would help. No joy. I'm stumped. victor |
