win xp win 98 connecting them help!
I need some real idiot proof help here!
My parents have this really old win98 laptop which they only use for email... it's full of viruses and really needs a format. However, it doesn't have a cd drive! Is there a way I can connect it to my win xp machine and use it's cd drive to format the laptop and reinstall windows? If so, what cables etc do i need? Any help very much appreciated thanks! |

AFAIK there's no way you can do this and you'll really need a CD drive connected to the computer.
