WIN2000 Pro and Win XP network problem

WIN2000 Pro and Win XP network problem

I have a PC under Windows XP Pro in a network under W2000 Pro with SP6. There are only 3 users with WIN-XP.

I lose connection within the network ( I can not have access to files in the network). Also, sometimes I can print in any of the 4 printers shared in the network, and suddenly I get "access denied". If I click on printer properties, I get "printer queue service disabled". But if I restart the PC, everything works perfect for some hours, till I get the same problem again. I wouldn't want to delete and format my hard disk and install W2000.

Any help is welcome.
