Wireless Broadband Router > Laptop, PC and printer
Hello.
I have a Wireless Broad band router. My laptop has a wireless network card and my downstairs PC has a Network adapter which connects via wires to the router. The PC Downstairs also has a printer. Is it possible for my Laptop to print to that printer? I am great with computers, however networking is just not me, so please talk n00bish ![]() Thanks in advance! |

Yep, this should be easy. Right-click the printer and select Properties in the downstairs computer. Find the Sharing tab, and make sure that sharing is enabled. Give it a sensbile name. Then, go to your laptop, run the add a printer wizard, and there should be an option to add a network printer. You can enter the printer address as \\computername\printername.
