Wireless Linksys card in 98se machine, logon issue
Ok, I have several PC's connected to my domain using wireless pc cards and pci wireless cards. All of my PC's except for 1 garage PC are running W2K or later XP Pro.... This one pc in the garage is running 98se and I just installed a linksys wireless pci card in it. I can access the internet but I can not logon the network, I get the domain server not available etc message. I can logoff and log back in as long as I don't shutdown or restart the pc and it logs right on. But try to logon fron a boot and nothin doing. I know that the issue is that the wireless network card hasn't started up to access the network and its probably a 98se thing but it doesn' hurt to ask if anyone found a way to fix this issue. Like I said its just my garaghe pc and I haven't messed around to much yet, just looking for the quick fix.
Thanks |
