    Wireless Network Help

OK, let me explain what I'm trying to do first. I'm receiving my internet my laptop through my wireless card, and am currently trying to make the connection available to my desktop through a LAN connection hardwired to my laptop through a wireless router. the internet connection I'm using is my neighbors (which I'm using with permission) it's a WiFi hotspot. I'm unable to get an internet connection on my desktop though. while connected to the desktop i get kicked off the wireless connection.

so you want to connect your desktop to your laptop, and then share the laptops wireless connection to your desktop.

I believe you may want to "bridge" the two connections. Or try setting up a "ad-hoc" connection. Ive not done this before but i think one of those ways will work. Check network connections for setting up the connections.
