XP to iPaq Ad-hoc network
Seeking help...
I'm trying to create an ad-hoc network between an Ipaq 4150 (embedded wifi) with a Centrino laptop running XP Pro. I've set the laptop to a static IP of 192.168.0.1, and the iPaq to 192.168.0.2 After creating the network on the laptop, the iPaq can connect to it, and I can ping the iPaq from the laptop. I have created a share on the laptop which I'm trying to access from the iPaq (Temp) - but this doesn't seem to work. The iPaq keeps returning a message saying the folder is not found. I've used the File Explorer on the iPaq to open //192.168.0.1/Temp. I've disabled WEP and ICF. Any thoughts?
