    Post List of open sockets


    Hi ...

    In linux we can get the list of opened sockets by using socklist command which gives the application which opened the socket... whatz the eqiuvalent command in linux or can i use netstat for this...

    its a two step process... you could whack out a bit of Perl or something to make a tool that does it in one shot for all open sockets...

    use netstat -a to list all sockets (perhaps with '-n' to avoid DNS timeouts). Then use the 'fuser' command to list the processes that are using the socket. You local man page will have fuser's args.
